Coming soon
This is a planned feature. It is not available for trading, deposits or settlement. The workflow below is a design description, not an instruction to send funds. Final configurations and fees will be published before release.
See the animated explanation or check current product status.
Choose when your tokens unlock.
Agree on a price in exchange for a clear lock or gradual release.
Who it helps: Buyers comfortable waiting for tokens and sellers offering different terms.
Illustrative example: A seller offers one price for immediate delivery and a lower price for tokens that unlock gradually over 30 days. The buyer chooses whether the wait suits them.
The planned steps
The interface will guide you through the terms before any required wallet approval. These steps describe the intended experience; they cannot be completed in the current release.
- 01The seller states the price and unlock schedule.
- 02The buyer checks when each portion becomes available.
- 03After settlement, the buyer claims tokens as they unlock.
How it is intended to work
The planned delivery mode would send purchased tokens into a vesting account instead of directly into a spendable wallet balance. A schedule may have a waiting period, a single unlock date, or gradual releases. The seller's payment and creation of the buyer's token claim must be tied to the same approved settlement. Exact schedule options, claim costs and cancellation rules will be documented before activation.
What to review before approving
Compare the total price and fees with the exact unlock dates, available amounts, claim permissions and any account costs. Check whether the schedule can be changed and who controls any upgradeable program. A discount should be weighed against the loss of immediate access to the tokens.
What this does and does not promise
A discount is not yield or guaranteed profit. Locks apply to the purchased allocation, not every token the buyer owns. They do not prevent trading elsewhere with other holdings or selling after an unlock.
What you can explore today
Read the user guide for existing market and wallet-held offer workflows, or the API documentation for public wallet-approved listing tools. Those existing workflows are the Solana beta. Solana market creation requires the launch password and wallet approval. For the main network, read the Robinhood Chain guide.
For custody and settlement context, read wallet-held swaps, funded escrow and smart contracts. Those references do not activate the feature described in this chapter.
